Be a Pedagogic Ambassador

If you have already developed or you are still experimenting with face to face or online ways to engage students and to activate their learning why not volunteer to be a Pedagogic Ambassador? By becoming a Pedagogic Ambassador we will help you share your practice with other colleagues through our Pedagogic Ambassador webpage. That way colleagues can see examples of effective practice and maybe contact you and arrange to observe a class or to discuss approaches they are thinking of integrating into their teaching.

What do I need to do?
Contact Donna Hurford - dhu@sdu.dk - to arrange a face to face or a phone interview with a pedagogic consultant; this usually lasts about 40 minutes. During the interview you will be asked to describe and evaluate your teaching and learning approaches. You will be sent a summarised transcript to edit and approve. These transcripts will be disseminated by SDU’s Centre for Teaching and Learning in response to requests from colleagues who are looking for examples of effective teaching and learning. They will also be uploaded to the Pedagogic Ambassador webpage together with your contact details to encourage further peer collaboration, inspiration and support.

Peer learning and peer modeling are some of the most powerful ways to develop understanding and thanks to colleagues who are willing to share their teaching and learning approaches; we can all share in the learning.

Thank you for your interest in this role, we look forward to hearing from you.
